ConnectionOpen v1.06 User Guide

Sign In Screen

This is the Sign In screen, the first screen you will see when you launch ConnectionOpen.

  1. Enter your User Name and Password, then click Sign In to login to the application.
  2. Cancel will exit the application.

After Sign In, the application will launch a Network Test. This process will attempt to automatically set your router up to allow ConnectionOpen to operate.

Network Test

  1. This process will test your network for the correct setup, and if UPnP is enabled, will setup your router for you.
  2. This process can take up to 3 minutes the first time you run ConnectionOpen, but will only take a few seconds after the initial setup is complete.
  3. If UPnP is not enabled on your router, you will need to complete these setup steps on your router:
  4. FORWARD UDP PORT 8095 to the IP Address of your computer.
  5. FORWARD UDP PORT 8096 to the IP Address of your computer.
  6. Should the network test fail, you will need to setup your router to forward UDP as described above, OR set your router to accept UPnP settings and re-start ConnectionOpen. (see the documentation for your router.)

After the Network Test is complete, the Session Master window will open.
